Mid-term is Over :(
Mini Company Competition this thursday :)
Hopefully we'll all do well
I know its not apart of school but Celbridge talen show is this Saturday... Its gonna be Epic like it was last year :)
So many different acts perform and like its such a good line up for bands that are gonna be playing there :) Buy tickets. Its such a good night out with friends :)
Work Experience!

I'm doing it in the Leisure part of the West Grove Hotel.
I am excited.. One job i wanna do after i leave school.. It shall be awesome :L

Hopefully we'll have a dress up day the day before Paddy's day :)
It's fun in school with everyone dressed up. :)
15th March:
We're going to Glasnevan (Don't know if that is spelt right :L ) We are showing off our plays (again :] ) its showing what problems are going on ( in our plays) and if Margart Alward was there she would help them.. And how would she help them :) .... It'll be really good and it starts at 8 so it shall be a long night.. But a good one hopefully :)

English Drama!!
Today in English to help us with our Drama's Ian who did a workshop to help us, (I didn't do it though due to an injury :L). It looked like fun though, the girls did loads of different warm ups doing loads of different movements.. Basically the aim of the movements was nearly like to help us be able to embarrass ourselves in front of each other. Its really cool though.
Towards the end of the workshop, they did this thing where they had to be in a position (A-which was one person) and then B (other person) helped to 'fill the space' as you could say, with that then when B filled that space A would fill B's space when A moved out of her position. Okay that probably sounded really confusing.. :/ but its the best way i could try explain it, last class on a Thursday.. Your kinda tired lol..
Last week though.. We went to Mullingar :)
I think I already said this in another post further down but I'll expand on it:)
Anyway..
We headed off at 9:05 to mullingar, which there we'd present our plays which we've been working on for months! They were soo good though.. And congrats to everyone! The play that I was in 'Time of your life' was amazing everything worked out soo well, especially the guys based in the plays :L.
Our plays weren't preformed in front of other schools though, they were arriving later on. But we performed it in front of the judge (who was really friendly and helpful).. When all the plays were performed we headed out to the town for lunch, and the other schools arrived, on came from Donegal and the other from Kilkenny. Those plays we're really good.. Some we're really weird.. But still good :L.
We are now waiting on the results to see if we got through to the Semi-finale/ finale in Cork, and there the plays will be performed again! But this time hopefully I'll be better at the lighting than last time..

Dessert Flower.. Book review:)
In school- Re and geog.
We read Dessert flower.
The book follows a girl who left home and ended up going to london which there she got a job in a modelling agency. The book is a true story.
It was amazing how Waris Dire (the girl in the book) the way her life was like in Samoli, hearding the animals, feeding them etc. But I was amazed at her father trying to get her to marry an elderly man, I know it can be in the culture that she lived in, but to me, no it creeps me out how someone can make a 12 yr old marry a 60 yr old man! But she is only worth 5 camels..
When it came to how she got circumcised, it shouldn't be done to children at such a young age, its not right, but it shouldn't be done in the first place! Girls don't deserve that torture and the physical pain the get in adult life. I understand where they are coming from that the girls need to be pure for their husbands but proving it in that way isn't right at all.
Being unhappy at home, she ran away to London england, which there a photographer from a modelling agency gave her his card as she was walking her Uncles and Aunts child to school, she was a maid for them, until they left for home. With that Waris refused to leave England, so she worked in Mc Donalds to support herself whilst living in a youth hostel, eventually she calls up the photographer and went down to the agency, there they took pictures and put make-up on her. From there on she became a world renowned model known all over the world.
With this it gave her the advantage to speak out about female circumcision.

Its been a while since I've blogged....:(
But been really busy with school work, and dancing..

Mini Company is kicking off.. Our mini co group Baby cakes are selling our products... Hoping to get loads of people buying.
Last week we went to carlow for a competition in our plays that we created .. Unlike us other groups got teachers to help them create it.. we didn't we made it ourselves :)
We are also continuing with rugby :) Its really good.. and hoping to more competitions.
