Poem written for you. :)

This poem is written for you
I've never known how much friendship mean

when until there standing by your side

How things can bring you closer

and drift you's apart.

We were all just seperate people

then joined to become one group.

The year went by

went by too fast

all those photograph's that we'll laugh about

in the years to come.

This poem was written for you

as i never knew how much friendship meant

till it was right in my face

We are a clouds in the sky

stay's there constantly no matter where we are

it'll never say good bye

The walls aren't going to go into flames

the memories we have

will still remain

even if the smoke starts to rise

We'll look up to clouds

and know your there by each other sides.

Bog Bodies!! :L

We went to Musems in town on Kildare street beside the Dail.. It was fun.. We saw bog bodies and they were soo cool! As I have an interest in Forensic's it was defiantly an insight to what it was like. They was the bodies have been for years underneath bog and the conservation not alot of decoposition had actually on them its amazing! One of the bodies still have a tooth, hair and also his facial features we're very visible. Most of the bodies had be cut in different parts like some has to legs or torso I think one didn't have a head, but most of the bodies prob have been taken out of the ground and used as turf for a fire. In the musem we saw the bronze age we saw loads of different of different forms of Jewellery that was worn in that age. We also saw a boat that could of been used in the bog (... I think.. ) and it was amazing how the musems keep the conserved for the general public and nothing has decoposed or even fallen off the boat.. We also went to a W.B. Yeats musem. This gave us his general history but also different poems he wrote.. I never knew that he could so infactuated with a girl, it was amazing how he was basing his poems around women in was infactuated with. We looked at loads of different things and heard poems from the speakers over head as we were walking around the musem. Then after we found out loads of different information we went to the National Gallery Musem to look at his brothers art work. His art work was interesting.. He like's to draw pictures with meaning. He's like got some very interesting pictures. He had one with a horse going running through a forest, towards a woman figure, before he drew this picture his wife died so I think that he is running to his wife.. ttyl byeee Btw its end of class I'll continue it again sometimes

To Ty

So to Ty.
Our last few months,

We'll never forget those laughs.

From Carlingford to Carlow.

Mini Company to English.

Dressing it up or down.

Making friends.

And being insane

Not caring what anyone is saying.

Towards Music Night

Then Grad Night

Our Work Experience

and experiences for life.

From screaming running with a rugby ball

to try keep us quiet in music class.

Learning new things

taking on challenges

Making us who we are.

Opening our eyes to another side of learning

Getting to know others alot better.

So to TY..

Thanks to what you've brought

and what you'll help do in our years ahead.

No matter how much competition that went on between each class on dress up day.

It was all fun.

Glad that you were the year I went in with for Ty

Jabba Jabba Jembe

This was probably one of the best workshops ever.. I know I never reported it on this yesterday had project work to do. So I'm doing it today.
The guy (Dave) with his own business Jabba Jabba Jembe, is a percussionist for the last ten years. In the morning we got to use the different drums.. They are African style Drums: Jembe and Kpanlogo they were the main drums there, he also had base drums. But we learned loads of different things we did freestyle/ Solo too. We got to use each drum and also had alot of fun!
If i was to rate it out of ten I'd so give it an 11 it was that good :)..
We also taught him are own beats with our hands chest and clicks, he taught us one too at the end of the session. Alot of people got a bit carried away sometimes when he told us to be quiet, so it was a good laugh too!
I know this is short but atm that's all I can think of.. I'll report back tomorrow when we are back from our W.B Yeats and Bog Bodies exhibition is town!

Work Experience :)

Well.., I went to West grove leisure club in Clane, it was soo much fun the only day I had alot of fun was with Niall, he was only fresh out of collage and he showed me the proper insight of working at a gym ( and he let me off early :) ) He like showed me how to measure the body fat on someone, also the PH and Chlorine in the pool, and also the different machines and how they properly used in the pool, like the Jacuzzi ( how they get the bubbles going and the temp in the pool) and in the pool (bubbles, temp etc etc) Interesting fact: ( prob not but anyway) A jacuzzi needs 6 chlorine pellets to be the right PH. The pool needs 3/4 of a cup. The temp also needs to be 38 Degrees Celsius and the pool around the body temperature. When working out you need to have a warm up and a warm down. If not warmed up properly you will cause an injury to yourself and if you don't warm down you'll get a build up a lactic acid in the muscle and it can be very uncomfortable to have. Also the measurement of body fat, they have a machine to measure its called the BIA body fat analyzer *don't eat at least an hour before getting fat measured with this machine. Also the other machine: Body fat measurement calipers. This usually give the exact amount of body fat on your body. Niall the guy that I was with that day, he should me how to use them but doing it on himself. It was kinda cool the way it worked out the BIA machine, you had to give: Age, gender, weight and then it'd measure your fat, then on the wall a poster showed the fat on the body for heights, age and weight. I had this girl Orla for Monday and Tuesday and some part of Thursday. She was really nice and chatty (not comparing to Niall though he talked sooo much). She showed me how to clean machines properly and where each piece of equipment go. I had to help out setting up the rooms for each class, except for the aqua fit classes. :) The days the manger wasn't in the place was more relaxed and easy going. When he was in, he was really busy but also cranky as one of the girls said. He was really nice though. Although I started at 9 and finished at 1 (Most days I was finished at 12:30) it was still tiring, but I didn't know how some of the workers there were in from 6am and worked till about 2pm. It seemed to go really slow when I wasn't doing classes, cause I was always in the gym doing the same thing over and over again. On Friday Dermot (the manger) he said i didn't have to go in on that day, but my mum working at a gym I was told I can work down there. It was alot of fun, I know the Boss very well and as it's a small gym there was no point of me going in there for a week cause it'd be very repetitive. I worked from 5pm-7pm ( I didn't mind those hours cause i got a line in the morning). I helped count money, recorded who came into the gym and was helping my mum clean up after everyone left. Even though it was very basic stuff the boss didn't mind me staying there with my mum as they were her working hours. While working in the gym I learned alot about myself, I've definitely grown alot of confidence as I was left to do alot of things by myself and in area's on my own. Even though I wasn't working there people did assume I did as they asked a few questions but only basic and definitely ones I can answer with my mum working at a gym I've heard most of the questions before. That's all i can think of atm..Ttyl.. :)

Sometime in April

Its a movie which is really sad.. Some parts can be very upsetting in how the got treated in Rowanda. But the way the hutu's got treated was unbelievable, just getting killed because of what you are!
The movie is following this man and him going back on the memories of what he went through, loosing his family and children and him evening shooting his own friend. He goes to his brothers testomional to hear what he has to say, then he visits then in jail which there his brother tells him how his family dies.
The saddest part of the movie I think is the School scene, where many innocent girls are shot. In one of the rooms the teacher tells the girls that they are not going to be killed but one girl said she'll die to protect her sisters (classmates).. Eventually one after one said they'd die for each other which leaves the teacher in such a bad way.. The soldiers eventually come into the room and shoot them all, with only 3 surviver's, the last three that survived ran away across the country but one died as she is very weak.
The two that are left eventually go back to the school to help clean up all the bodies. This movie is breathe taking and only for those who have a strong head.
We still haven't finished watching the movie, but I cannot wait to see what happens in the end..

Aoife. :)
